Think you’ve got what it takes?

We’re hosting our first-ever Brisket Smoke-Off at The Rancher’s Daughter, and we’re looking for a mix of serious competitors and backyard smokers to step up and bring their best.

This isn’t a formal BBQ circuit event.
It’s local, it’s competitive, and it’s built around one thing: great beef done right.

Event Details

Date: June 24
Time: 5:00–8:00 PM
Location: The Rancher’s Daughter (parking lot during the farmer’s market)

You’ll be cooking and serving in front of a high-traffic crowd, with attendees sampling and voting throughout the evening.

How It Works

• Each competitor will smoke a Rancher’s Daughter brisket

• Guests will purchase tasting tickets and vote for their favorite

• The competitor with the most votes wins People’s Choice

We’ll also have a small judges panel awarding a secondary prize.

Competitor Requirements

• Must use a Rancher’s Daughter brisket

• Brisket must be purchased through us (50% off for competitors)

• Must provide bite-sized samples to attendees

• Must follow ticket-based serving system (1 ticket = 1 sample)

• Bring your own smoker and setup

• Maintain a clean and professional booth

Entry Details

• Entry Fee: $50

• Limited to 20 competitors total

• This is a community-focused event, but we expect a high level of effort and presentation

• You’ll be serving directly to the public, so professionalism matters
